2004 is in the Books
Where did 2004 go, and what does 2005 have in store? Personally 2004 has to be one of the best years in recent memory: completing my bachelors, finding a job in an otherwise saturated job market, taking care of some long overdue family business, and of course getting a place to call my own.
This New Years Eve was spent in a friend’s uncle’s house (which was amazing to say the least). Played some pool there, watched the spurs game, and played some Mexican bingo – only to be robbed of two victories. We went to Madison Avenue shortly after midnight where the real debauchery began. Although it was not I who was involved in this; I played wingman that night. There were no females there which peaked my interest, but the place was pretty quiet considering the amount of cars in the parking lot.
The rest of the evening could simply be described as chaotic, and it carried over into the next morning. That morning was spent with a headache of epic proportions and arranging the evening.
Now the task on hand is the wedding in two weeks; I need to get the creative juices flowing for that damn toast. I caught a severe case of writers block and couldn’t write anything worth a damn.
Here is to 2005!
