Back & at 'em

Wow this is the longest drought I have taken from this - ever i think. I will be posting again with more regularity, but probably fewer politcal things. On the other hand that swindle W managed to get the evangelical voters to come out and vote on moral issues rather than the real issues at hand.

These so called devoted people turned their cheek when they found Bush lied about war, and continues to do so. We have the largest debt in history, coming off a major surplus, and health care coverage is on the rise. All that paired with the fact that chief justice Rhenquist isn't doing so well health wise. That only means that an appointee may be closer than every one initially thought. If things go the way I think they will, Roe v. Wade will be over turned, and the age of hangers and falling down stairs will return.

Its a terrible thing.

I am going to make this one short only becuase it is already late and I neex some zzzzs after staying up too late this Sunday. Here is to a 4 day work week though (yay!)

I don't know if I’d call Bush a swindle for getting "evangelical voters" to vote on "moral issues rather than the real issues at hand." My guess as to how this comes as a shock to you is that you, and a lot of other people, were surprised that a majority of Americans do believe in moral values. I guess the next question would be, "where has this support been hiding?" I honestly don't have the answer but I for one am very glad that moral issues won.

"These so called devoted people turned their cheek when they found Bush lied about war....” We didn't turn the cheek despite what you might think. Let me get this out, I am not 100% happy with Bush. I do not agree with all of his policies, however I do support a man that looks/speaks/prays to God everyday. Did he listen to God about the war? It is my opinion that he did not. But I asked myself, did I always listen and do what God asked of me. No. We "so called devoted people" are not perfect, and never will. I yearn to be like Christ, but I know that I will stumble in my walk with him. I ask your forgiveness if my stumble includes you or anyone else.

"Roe v. Wade will be over turned, and the age of hangers and falling down stairs will return." Where does one start with this? Roe v. Wade should be over turned. Let’s be honest, 95% of the people who get an abortion are those that can’t keep their pants up and can’t keep their legs closed. Only the extreme cases like the mother’s life is endangered should be considered. As far as the second half of your statement, you seem to be supporting abortion now. What difference to you does it make which way they kill a child? Either way you look at it, you kill a child. I do have a question for the 95% out there. Would you have the same view on abortion if your mother aborted you? You were given a chance to live, give the same gift to your children.
